Paris, France – February 29, 2007 – DxO Labs announces today the addition of 10 new lenses, including popular zooms and fish-eyes, to its library of lens correction modules for DxO Optics Pro v5. The addition of these lenses, designed specifically for the Nikon D3 and Nikon D300 digital SLR camera bodies, bring the total number of lens correction modules available to DxO Optics Pro users to nearly 700. DxO Optics Pro is the award-winning digital image enhancement tool for digital SLR cameras incorporating revolutionary optics, noise and exposure corrections in an easy-to-use, feature rich application for Mac and PC users.

“We are constantly extending our library of DxO Lens Modules to offer photographers worldwide the greatest selection of correction capabilities,” said Luc Marin, vice president of the DxO Labs Photography Business. “Combined with the batch-processing capabilities of DxO Optics Pro, this means workflow improvements for even the most serious photographers.”

Three more lens correction modules have been added to DxO Labs’ initial offering for the Nikon D3. In addition to the previously supported AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G ED, AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4D and AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G ED lenses, DxO Optics Pro v5 software now offers lens correction modules for the AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D, AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8D IF-ED, and AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED lenses. Support for this camera body and these lenses are available only in the Elite version of DxO Optics Pro v5.

For the Nikon D300, the number of DxO Optics Pro lens correction modules nearly doubles bringing it to 15 for this popular camera body. The new lenses supported are the AF DX Fisheye-Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8G ED, the AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G ED, the AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G ED, the AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED, the AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6D ED, AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED, and the Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM. Support for this camera body and these lenses are available in both the Standard and the Elite editions of DxO Optics Pro v5.

Pricing and availability
DxO Optics Pro v5 is available immediately on the company’s e-store or from respected retailers for Windows users. DxO Optics Pro v5 for Macintosh will first be available as a public-beta and is planned for distribution in the spring of 2008.

Editor’s note: DxO Optics Pro is a great program but has completely neglected makes other than Canon or Nikon. Many owners of Sony, Pentax, Olympus and other cameras have purchased it based on the promise of updates for the lenses which really need the corrections, only to find the initial set of a few lenses has remained static for a year or even two years, and new camera raw conversions are not added for months after the launch of the camera. The haste to include the Nikon D3 with its 14-24 and 24-70mm, two lenses which probably need the DxO corrections less than any other glass on this planet, contrasts with non-availability of modules for lenses which really would benefit greatly like the Tamron 18-250mm, many new and revised Sigmas, and of course the absence of modules for many cameras.
